How do I measure at home on my own?
Stand in front of a mirror in a bra that is not padded. Put the tape around your ribs, just under the bust, level all the way round, snug but not pulled. That is the first number. Then take it around the fullest part of the bust, standing straight, and let it sit without squashing anything. That is the second. You do not need anyone to help you.
What is a sister size?
The same cup volume on a different band. A 36C and a 34D hold about the same amount, the band is just tighter or looser. If the size we give you is nearly right but the band rides up or digs in, the sister size is the next thing to try. The tool gives you both.
Is a UK size the same as a US size?
The band is. The cup is not, once you go past a D. A UK DD is a US DD, but a UK E is a US DDD and a UK F is a US G. The tool above gives you both so you do not have to hold it in your head.
Inches or centimetres?
Either. Nigerian shops use both and neither is more correct. Measure in whichever your tape shows and switch the setting above to match. What matters is that you use the same unit for both measurements.
Is a bra cup the same as a foam pad?
No, and this trips a lot of people up. A cup size is a measurement, the difference between your bust and your under bust. The foam insert some bras come with is a pad. Removing a pad does not change your cup size.
Why does one size fit differently in two shops?
Because Nigerian retailers do not use the same chart. One measures you in centimetres against a dress size, another measures you in inches against a UK cup, and the marketplaces mix UK, US and EU on the same page. Your body has not changed. The chart has.
Can my size change?
Yes. Weight, pregnancy, breastfeeding and time all move it. Measure again every six months or so, and measure again whenever a bra that used to fit starts riding up at the back.
What if I am bigger than a G cup?
We stock to an H cup and we can order past that. Message us with your measurements and we will tell you honestly whether we can get it and how long it takes.
